I am attempting to upgrade the manual mirrors in my 92 XJ to later model power mirrors. I got a nice set from the P&P and was able to find the free standing control switch to go with them. I have tested the components per the FSM and they test good. The mechanical part is no problem but the electrical part is for me. I want to make a separate harness to connect all the components together. I have FSM schematics but cannot make sense of them. My electrical knowledge is minimal.
Does anyone have information they can share on how they did the swap?

 

When I swap in components like that, I prefer to use the factory harness. I would go back out to p&p and grab the harness. A bit of work in removal, but makes for a clean, factory install.
