I've been asking around alot and I'm trying to decide which is better for my bumpers. I got some new ones coming in raw steel and wanna cover them as soon a possible so I can put em on. Any suggestions?
can of krylon primer + can of krylon semi-gloss black.
I just like it because its cheap, and easy to touch up. I would never powdercoat anything if its intended to take hits and protect your vehicle.
Never liked the look of bedliner on exterior body parts either.

I have never had a good can of krylon paint. I always use rustoelum.

the rattle can spray on bedliner that they sale at walmart is pretty strong, looks good (IMO), and at ~$8 a can, it is cheap and easy to touch up if needed.
I have had several offroad bumpers powder coated and its good but hard to touch up. To be honest the best coating for the money is good quality Engine Paint. The last one I built I went that way and wish I had done the previous ones. It's also probably the best paint from a can for wheels too.

I would also get bedliner. I did the rustoleum bedliner spray on my tube rear bumper. I reveresed into a large dumpster and no damage to bumper or paint just a lot take paint on it from dumpster. It is very tough.
