Default Possible header?

Hello all!

Wanted to get some opinions from your friendly neighborhood CF on something I got FOR FREE from a friend of mine today. A header, with equal runners by the look of it and dual outlets. He said a friend had custom made it for his 4.0. Tell me what ya'll think. I'm concerned with diff clearance and driver-side motor mount clearance.

From just looking at it, I highly doubt it'll fit. Seems like where those middle three pipes run, it would hit the motor mount

Exactly what i was thinking. It would suck to go through removing the manifolds just to have it hit lol

Hell yeah it would! But you were the one who has the manifold write up, right? You've done it before so you have a pretty good idea of what will fit in there. But hey, maybe one day you'll be so bored that you wanna tear it down and try it out?

From my experience with the manifold replacement.. The only way it might fit is if the reason the back pipe is slightly inward and low is to have one collector in the usual spot and a second in running under and around the mount. As far as the pumpkin... Idk

Looks like the Pacesetter one except a one piece instead of two piece. It has that same gap in the middle to clear the motor mount area. (I have that one). The only one piece designs I've seen like that are from Heddman and Pacesetter for the 258 (4.2L).

It looks like one for a inline 6 early mustang to me.

Ahh so being for a 4.2 it won't work for the 4.0? Or will it considering much of the 4.2 tooling was used for the 4.0? I don't know if the exhaust ports match though. The tubes on this header do seen a tad bit more restrictive that my APN header.

I guess it would depend on shipping to 46563, probably take a pretty good size box due to the awkward size, shoot me a price! I'm very interested though.
