Looking to pic this posi up. 27 spline. For my 8.25. Did some research. Looks like an auburn. I guess once the cones wear out its toast. Wanted to know what look for when I go look at it. It's used. Guy said its in good shape. Not beat on. But you never know. Any info would be great. Never installed something like this. This is new for me.

I guess most of all it would depend on price compared to something new as labor is the same.

 

$50. I think I'm going to pick it up. Even if I decide not to use it I think I can sell it and make money. Or hold on to it till I buy another xj and make one more of a trail rig.

 

Getting close to picking this posi up. Anyone know what I should look for as far as if its still good? Any thing specifically I guess....
