popping from brand new adjustable track bar
I put an RE adjustable track bar on with my lift and it's popped when I turn since day one. Drives me nuts, any remedies?
And I'm also trying to figure something to get my springs to squeak less. I'm thinking maybe some felt between the spring and the mount might do the trick thoughts?

I'm throwing some new shocks up under the front end after work today so I'll put some elbow grease into it but when I put it on I did it at work using my air gun so the axle and frame side should be pretty damn tight but I'll double check them and crank on the jam nut some more and post up with my findings.

I did one of the RE ATB not long ago. the popping from these can come from the mount to the body. If the hole that you drilled out has ANY play whatsoever, your gonna get a pop. If you drilled it out at any angle at all and the bolt has ANY room to move. . .you need to get an aftermarket bracket to attach to the body. This is what happens when the bushing goes bad on stock TBs. The bushing going bad allows for the bolt to move and slowly woller out the mount hole. This makes a bad pop and is the reason for using bigger hardware and drilling out
But really lots of things can pop under pressure once you go putting lots of aftermarket parts if you dont check/ tighten on a somewhat regular basis

quick response lol.
and that bracket has a hole to accept the like...7/8 bolt that came with the tackbar I'm assuming?
also I don't have the extreme duty track bar. just the regular adjustable one http://www.quadratec.com/products/16311_602_07.htm
that HD bracket says it's the drop bracket necessary for the extreme duty track bar. is it still compatible with the regular duty model that I have?

oh I think I see what you're saying. to use that HD bracket the heim joint will turn 90 degrees and the bolt will go through the bracket parallel with the ground rather than perpendicular like it is with the factory bracket, correct?
