My current project on my XJ is steering. I'm ordering the AGR gear box on Monday. Putting on new tie rod ends. CRox plate kit. And now I'm looking for a drop pitman arm.
I currently have a 4.5" kit but going up a inch with the next project. Does anyone have experience w these that could provide accurate information? Seems as if every Tom, Dick, & Harry offer one.

5.5 Inches shouldn't require a drop pitmen arm.

 

I bought a rubicon express drop pitman and it was exactly the same length as my stock one. So I sent it back. Like the Blacksmith says you shouldnt need one.

 

From the looks of it. The geometry doesn't look too far off from stock height from what I remember.
Now if I could get the extra $300 to get FrankZ's serious steering so I can ditch this Rusty's steering conversion, my life would be perfect.
