Pilot bearing question
I need to locate a pilot bearing: the rebuilt 4.0L engine I have appears to have a late crank, and I have the older AX15 (internal slave).
Consequently it looks like I need a pilot bearing with a 1.00" OD and 0.59" ID.
The stock pilot bearings were 1.05" OD and 0.59" ID (older vehicles) and 1.00" OD and 0.75" ID (newer vehicles). Neither works when mating a new style engine with an older AX15.
What pilot bearing part number will work?
