QUESTION: Be nice guys >>>> Why would you need to drop the TC an inch for a 2" lift ??? Most 3" lifts do not require a TC drop.
Personally I am looking into a 3" lift from Rubicon or OME with new leafs and not add a leaf. I do not mind a semi bumpy ride and do not want the
XJ to sag in 5 yrs ......

I will say though, you are looking at 2 great brands there. You'll be happy either way you go.
You probably won't need a tcase drop. I bet the guy that has those vibes at 2" and a 1" tcase drop has some bad ujoints/unbalanced driveshaft/bad tranny or engine mounts/etc. rather than the driveline geometry being off.

I had vibes after install I did a 3 " AAL but my jeep has upcountry pkg.
Also the 97 up jeeps Ive heard are finicky when it comes to vibes and such from lifting. I did both motor mounts and trans mount ,I ended up making a TC drop until I do my 8.8 swap and sye.
Oh and David I will post up the pics of both sides of my jeep its off to the pass side. Im not drilling or moving anything I am ordering an adj. track bar next check.
