Piecing together a 3'' Lift
Well i have begun looking into Piecing together a 3'' lift. Mostly from all the feedback and threads I read on here. I started with a budget of 550, but moved to more of the 850 range. I want some quality stuff that can be installed, enjoyed, and forgotten about. It appears all you need are:
(2) Upgraded Front Shocks
(2) Upgraded Rear Shocks
(2) Sets of either Upgraded rear Springs or an Add A Leaf
(2) Front Lower Links
My questions are as follows:
1. Am I missing anything above to make a 3'' Lift?
2. What are the best bang for your buck quality parts you can get to achieve a comfortable yet results producing lift?

At $850, buy a kit. Or piece it together using a forum.
You need 3" coils. Leaf packs or AAL. Shocks for 3" lift or however you want to run them.
Think about doing something with your sway bar up front, ditch the rear one. You could use new LCA's. Thats about all at 3". New brake lines if you want.

I have a stock trackbar,in the stock location-no redrilled hole,no front swaybar,no issues,& all on a 3 in. lift & barely balanced 33/12.50's.
You don't need a trackbar.
Seriously.

Really ??
I have the Zone 3" on my Jeep the track bar hole does need to be redrilled.
I just replaced the track bar (stock type) and its a different length axle is not centered.
Moral of the story buy an adjustable Track bar from the get go.

You can buy pretty much any new 3" lift if your budget is $850. I could probably piece together a 3" long arm for that kind of budget.
As far as the trackbar goes, every Jeep is different. Some need a new trackbar at 3", some dont. If your axle isnt centered with the lift, get a trackbar.

Here
3" Coils (Rustys): 150
3" Leafs (Old man EMU, via jeepinoutfitters.com): 350 (after bushings, etc)
RE Superflex ADJ LCAs: 200
Adj Trac bar: 100-200 (depending on what you go with.
Shocks: Between 140-A zillion.
Puts you slightly over budget.. but a kick *** setup.
You could use cheaper stuff and stay under budget if need be.
