I was thinking about a tunesport performance module, any thoughts or tips? I want a little more response and mpg outta my xj. Dont wanna break the bank

 

I won't be the last one to say this... Not much you can get out of this old push rod engine without tearing it apart and stroking it.

 

I realize that but gotta wait a year or two for i can pull it off the road and "STROKE" it. Pun intnded. Do the chips help at all? Even better mpg for 55$(price of chip) might pay for itself, or just better highway response would be worth it to me

 

I would do a cowl induction with a bored throttle body and exhaust before I did a chip. I've heard they don't do anything/ make things worse. But someone with real world experience with chips should chime in soon.

 

I think it is Jet that also makes an upgrade for pre-ODB II Cherokee's. I considered it for about 5 seconds.

I got your email, sounds great, but how much shipped and all, and i am guessing the core they talk about is my stock throttle body sent back to u after installing the bored u send?
