Get some Bilsteins from Seriousoffroad. He's within a few buck of anyone anywhere. He also provides measurements which is useful in getting the right ones the first time.

I may have missed a comment in the thread confirming OEM Bilsteins. If not, my 96 XJ Country came with the UpCountry package. According to Jeep specs, this package includes skid plates and a one-inch higher ride height courtesy of special springs AND Bilstein shocks.
I didn't know what packages I had when i bought the XJ so got the build sheet and did a bit of research. I've confirmed that I still have what I assume are the original Bilsteins on the Jeep at 173,000 miles. They actually seem to be still in fairly good function (hard to tell since XJ's have a bit of lean naturally, but no bounce.
