I have a 2000 sport that I just put a ohc in out of a 98 or 99 grand cherokee. I matched up wire for wire from my sport and have everything working somewhat. My problem it that now I cant get my key fob to work. Any ideas???

well that sucks.
the answer is pretty much no, if the console is from a '97-'98. you have to get the earlier keyless remotes for it, as they are the only ones that work with it. they have far shorter of a range of operation, and are pretty ugly.
if it's from a '99-01, you probably can have it reprogrammed. but you have to take it to a dealer to do it, and it's $50 or more to do it.
I'd go to a junk yard, get the reciever from a '99-01, and install it, just to be perfectly sure.
