Default OBA compressor and tank locations

OK so after popping the bead on my tires one too many times and my friends crappy compressor taking a dump on us I have decided to make a permanent
OBA solution for my XJ. Taking form of an ARB twin compressor and a 1 gallon air tank feeding a manifold for use of the full tank pressure of 150psi and a regulator for 90psi to power lockers.

So as far as tank locations what are some of the more discrete/secret locations you guys know of?

What about compressor should i mount it under the hood or in the cab?

And could someone take a look at my tank mock-up

here is a link to my build. I made a bracket to hold the whole kit where the spare used to be.

I guess what im looking for is more of a hidden look. I took off the passenger side trunk panel and behind it is a ton of room. Have you guys used that for anything?

I used part of my roll cage as an air tank. Got the idea from Jp magazine. that part of the cage I had a friend do all the welding with the Tig since he does all our pressure and twin skinned tanks at work. It equaled to about a 2 gallon tank. Using the 2" DOM C-post hoop.

Here's mine. Both brackets for the tank and compressor use existing bolts

I've thought about using the cavity in some boatside sliders, but I wasn't sure of the pressure tolerances and whether their failure would be catastrophic or a quick hiss.
At 150psi if there's a rupture, what's the worst that could happen?
What volume do you think you could get out of both sides?

Mine isn't very hidden, but check out my build thread (in sig) and you can see my VIAIR compressor mounted next to my box. I still want to add a removable air tank.

Mines not hidden either. But the brackets I had made help me keep everything in the spot where the spare used to go.

Still need to setup the manifold to get rid of that hose.

150 psi doesnt have near enough power to catastrophically fail. It would be a pretty mundane sight.

You should put the hose from the comp. To the tank.where the relief valve is, the relief valve on top and the quick connect facing out the back

I'm jealous. I love how clean that install is!

This is my set up. I have a manifold mounted under the tray for the front air chuck on the bumper, the 2 ARB solenoids, and the gauge in the console. I also have a Wilkerson regulator/separator to step down the PSI to 90lbs for the lockers. I then have a gylcerin filled gauge to see total PSI in the tank and a rear air chuck.

In this shot you can see the shutoff valves I added for the front air chuck. It's a good idea to be able to isolate some stuff if you have a ruptured line. Ask me how I know.

Here's a shot of the console, with the gauge to monitor my lockers and the activation switches to the right.
