NP242 question
i currently have a stock cherokee and i got all the lift parts and want to order my hack n tap kit. i am lifting it about 5.5 inches and my question is will a front driveline work for that amount of lift? and also if it will what front driveline will work any front driveline from an auto or?
any recommended hack n tap kit?

Iron Rock is a great vendor. The hack-n-tap yoke can be found at some driveline shops also (need the part number).
Fits 231 and 242. You will need to know if you have the 'long' or 'short' tailcone
The front d-shaft from a 4.0 automatic will work.
Also the drill jig, bits, and tap.

2nd the IRO Hack n Tap. I just did mine last week. For some reason no one makes a SYE for the 242. When you buy the HNT, buy the sleeve too. You may or may not need it, if you do and don't have it... If you buy it and don't need it, they will let you return it.
