Default Np231,Np242 splines manual vs automatic.

Does anybody know if the input splines on a 1998 manual transmission 231 is the same as the input splines on a 1995 automatic 242?

Should be 23 spline. 21 spline ended in 1990,

BUT, I believe there are 3 different possible input shaft lengths on the 23 spline.
