Dude! It's gonna look like an alien abduction every time you open your door!

Nice job, though. I've been looking for a solution to my dim interior. I managed to mount a fluorescent booklight on the roof in the rear cargo area where I previously had no light. It works pretty well but my up-front dome is pathetic even with what Pep Boys calls a "SUPER BRIGHT" LED replacement bulb. I think "IF YOU LOOK CLOSE, IN TOTAL DARKNESS, YOU CAN SORT OF TELL THAT IT'S ON" would have been a better description but there really wasn't that much room on the package. Oh well, there's ten bucks I'll never get back.

You got a link to where you found those lights?

Oh... and how'd you get them to go up on the cieling? I got frustrated when redoing my headliner, and just yanked to old lights out. They are currently danging lrom the cieling...

the one up front is held by 2 screws where the old light was and 3M tape
the one in the back if you space it right you can screw in were the old light was and there is a rail that goes across the roof were you can also add some screws just be carful not to go all the way through

id share the link but its not up on ebay any more its a Kaper II utility lamp

Thanks for telling us the light. So you just wire it right to those three wires and away you go? And which wire goes to which?

I found 2 links with those lights..... thought i'd post them.

Is it just me or does that thing look like a mobile tanning bed? Minus the french fries(?) in the cargo area, of course.
