Question not your average grinding

So I have a strange new noise in my beloved Juliet(AKA-My 95' Cherokee). Its bone stock and I recently fixed an overheating issue by replacing the radiator, t-stat, and wiring my e-fan to a switch. I also replaced the PS Pump resevoir after breaking the nipple off while "fixing" the rest. LOL! Since this fix I have had a peculiar grinding noise only upon initial acceleration from park. To add to the mystery it only happens when it has been parked a while also the noise stops after 20 yrds or so and doesnt do it again for the rest of the trip. Until it is parked again for more than 20 min. I am at a real loss with this, so any ideas or advice would really be great! Thanx! Happy Jeepin'!

Check the inside of your brake rotors. Mine was doing the same thing and I didn't think it was the brakes because there was no grinding when I pressed the brakes, just upon acceleration. The outside pads were fine, but the inside passenger side one was metal to metal. I just happened to see it while I was inspecting other things it could have been.
