No Slip or Lock Right?
Ive had/installed a lock right before and it was super easy. Never had any problems other than the occasional " bang" and clicking noises which didnt bother me at all. The no slip is just a bit more but is supposedly alot quieter, my question is with an 8.25 27spline which one should i go with. The lock right appeears to have less parts and seems like that would make it stronger and more reliable as well as easier to install. Are tje no slips for this axle pretty good? Im running a 4.5" lift with 30/9.50 tires. I have a 29 spline 8.25 in the shop but its posi and i dont think you can put a lunch box in a posi carrier. I plan to do gears and 33's next summer and was just going to buy a detroit made for a 29 spline then swap the shafts into my existing housing.
