I'm wanting to give my '91 XJ 1.5" of budget lift...

Question 1 :I read here that Camaro spring isolators will give you 1.5" in the front - but what year Camaro do these need to come from? And if I bought them new would they be any cheaper than just buying ones specifically for an XJ?

Question 2: I have an extra set of XJ rear springs, wondering if it's possible to make a bastard pack out of these that will give me 1.5"? Has anyone done this?

Question 3: Will I need to lower my transfer case with just 1.5"?

 

i dont know about quest1 or two, but no you dont need a tc drop

 

There is a junk yard lift thread; you will find plenty of ideas there. You shouldn't need a tcase drop and you can get coil spacers for $30-40. So prob cheaper in the jy

 

Head to the JY get yourself 95-97ish GC upcountry front springs. There 1" and then get coil spacers and I believe yes you can just make a bastard from other xjs
