Exclamation ||| New Spring leafs set for lift |||

I'm thinking of replacing my dead stock spring leafs , and replace it with this spring leafs showing in the the link below :

Amazon.com: Dorman 929-301 Leaf Spring for Jeep Cherokee, Pack of 1: Automotive Amazon.com: Dorman 929-301 Leaf Spring for Jeep Cherokee, Pack of 1: Automotive

( those leaf springs will only return the car to normal stock hight )

And than maybe I'll just buy 2 shackles to get my 3"

Is it ok to make this move ????
Will I have to get a new U-bolts or not ???

If that price is each?? Look up the medium duty old man emu leafs on Amazon. I got mine shipped to my door for $255 for the pair. They are 2.75 lift. Only $55 more for a quality springs and no need for shackles. Plus if you want to go bigger later your a step ahead.

New u bolts are always recommend but if yours are original and there is no visual stretch in the threads it would be okay to use them but not recommended. It you choose to reuse which many people do make sure to retorque them a few times. Newly bolts are around $30 on average.

Also actually use a torque wrench set for proper torque. It has a effect on how the spring operates.

Amazon.com: ARB CS033RB Old Man Emu/Dakar Leaf Spring: Automotive Amazon.com: ARB CS033RB Old Man Emu/Dakar Leaf Spring: Automotive

I paid a lil less a month ago so it would be $262 shipped. Still a great deal on one of the best springs out there.

Rusty kit will be perfect ... The problem is that the shipping will cost me over 400$ over the kit price!!
