Parallel arms transfer the impact up into the spring and shock rather than back through the body. drop brackets get your arms parallel and provide better range of flex, although you're going to need longer shocks to take advantage of it. Short arms with drop brackets can be as good as radius long arms.

If it were me id do this:
Control arm drop brackets
A nice set of OME or bilstien shocks
Shackle relo bracket for better angle
Id run about 28psi for the tires
