When installing new shackles and leaf springs, how do you know if you are "torquing" the bolts and nuts down to factory? Thanks

Good thing this is in advanced. You set the wrench to a certain torque setting. Tighten the bolt and it will click, beep or do something that will let you know you reached your settings. Or you can get a cheap needle one and as you tighten it the needle will move telling you where you are.

Ok so its a little more advanced then just your regular old wrench, got it. And the reason I posted here was cuz it said for after market products, which is what I'm referring to. Thanks you for your help guys!
Yes, it's like a wrench, but with a dial, or a meter on it. I have the Craftsman beam type, which is one of the cheaper ones. Some of the better ones have a dial that you use to set the maximum torque, and the wrench will not let you torque past that... although I've heard a lot of people say that some of the cheaper clicker wrenches aren't as accurate.
I got mine at an estate auction in a big box of tools for like $5.
