If you want a more powerful v6 go with the 3.4 chevy put in the 90s modle camero thats what I put in my bros blazer its got a decent amount of power and you can get the engine for cheap at the junk yard. I did the bone yard lift on my 89' took v8 coils form a grand cherokee and put 1.5 knuckles in the springs from autozone and stacked the coil isolators and found a set of aal from rough country online for 25 dollars. Gave my bout 3 inches of lift.

Does anyone know from what year to what year of tail lights fit my 86?

And I also wanted to do a front grill swap but I don't even know if that's possible, like putting a 99 on it or at least something newer.

Also I'm gonna replace the to motor mounts soon. Is there anything difficult about changing them or is it just Streight forward?

I'm some what mechanically inclined since I have built some import cars from scratch. But never worked on a jeep.
