A great place to run that thing is into the cowl under the windshield wipers. Nice cold air under there.

And +1 on the ECU reset bandwagon. The factory settings are rich indeed - after reset the ECU takes 50 full warmups (so if you have a short commute it can take a lot longer) to determine proper air/fuel mix.

Heavier right foot after modifications like that can always hurt your mpgs
