New to Jeeps. Putting a 4.0 out of a 96 into an 88. HELP!
Hello, I'm trying to put a 4.0 out of a 96 cherokee into my 88. I can't find a pilot bearing that will work with the two different years. Is there any adaptors or anything I can use to get the 88 pilot bearing into the back of the engine?

I have not but I'll look into it, thanks! I'm only having a problem because I was told the engine was a 91 and not a 96. (Was stupid not to look for the production date on the block)
