New Jeep - Window Question and rear quarter panel
Good evening,
I searched for some info about my window which isn't working couldn't find a good answer.
My drivers door window will not roll down or up, every other window operates properly from every clicker.
Wahts the next step? replace the motor or test the switch? It makes no sound, not even a click when I move it up or down on the drivers side.
Also, I was washing her this weekend, and noticed a bubble on the rear quarter, like an idiot I pushed on it and now I have a hole in my jeep..!!?
I purchased this, I'm planning on working all the rust out with a rasp and popping this over it... with some silicone is this a sound idea?
Thanks homies
Heres my intro if you want to look at it you can see the hole on the rear quarter panel

cant see the hole in your pic..inspect the truck carefully all over for rust..repairing rust holes with 2 part epoxy filler works for a while, if all rusted metal is removed first
the drivers window issue needs to be addressed by removing the kick panel and door trim, tracing the wires using the free download manual..search the archives, common problem, usually the wires,
the switch can be taken apart and cleaned if it proves to be faulty
what year XJ ?
