I have a Nates 4X4 bumper that I am considering replacing with a smaller bumper. I bought the Nates thinking I would put a winch on it someday, but not going to. The Nates has the tie-ins already welded in. If I were to go with something like the JCR tie-ins, will they work with the rock crawler / smaller style bumpers (Like Warrior linked below)? I think others would benefit from knowing the answer to this and also how important the tie-in are for recovery purposes. Thanks in advance for info!

Damn, that warrior bumper is pretty expensive considering ita not a winch bumper. It better have frame tie ins for that price haha

 

Theres some weld together kits on market that are high and tight.

I'm not a huge fan of non winch bumpers. If you go offroad a winch could be the single most important investment.

if the rig doesnt go offroad then about anything that fits the drivers style and bolts on will work

 

You made a good point and I emailed with the guys at Warrior, their D-Ring bumpers does have the tie-in they say. I like how small the profile is and it still wraps around the sides. When you consider it's painted already, the price seems ok.
