I use the xrf ball joints, taken a beating and held up so far, when I bought mine from mibearing I found them using moog part numbers

why do the ball joints and others have the grooves,im trying to install a cheap upper one got close to half way decided to take it out , the groves are marred into the axle now, the stock ones had no grooves.
then i came on cf and some had said using these had ruined hes axle makeing the holes bigger and grooved . but didnt mention the brand.
the one i have is -parts master k3134t
