Default Need a Steering Upgrade Recom. Under $300

Need to upgrade my draglink and tie rod/ends. I have a relatively new steering stabilizer that would be nice to tack on, but if the new setup doesn't need it, I'll sell it on the bay.

I see an unheard of amount of products out there and I don't know what would be best. Here's some info on the rig:

3 inch Zone with 31x10.50 tires
stock pitman
Rough Country trackbar

Thanks guys,
XJM

I love my RuffStuff 'Y' link setup so far. It looks great sitting on the garage floor.

Hopefully I will find time in the next month or two to get it installed.

The RuffStuff setup requires welding and reaming the knuckles/pitman arm. Fairly solid 1.5 OD DOM (1/4" wall) with 3/4 Ton Chevy TREs. No stabilizer.

They are having a 20% off sale on steering now. Should be $240 shipped. Then you need a reamer or inserts. The reamer costs another $60.

zj v8 is a great bolt on and is strong enough for what you have,Fred runs this set up on 35s and hasn't broke it yet.If you go taller lift or bigger tires then i would go for something over the knuckle which takes a different track bar and axle mount and sway bar mounts.

You wouldn't happen to have a Moog part number for the drag link would you? Mine is pretty gnarly.and all those together is a full steering setup good to go I assume

Youll need the tre and collar also. Just double check. Maybe go to a parts store and ask them bc I don't see it referred to as a drag link

I'm running almost the exact setup except I have a IRO track bar. I installed a new V8 ZJ steering setup as well and it works great for me.

Where are you finding the 3 Moog parts you need to do it for $80? I looked on advance's site and used a coupon to get it down to $110.97. Autozone didn't have the Moog parts, just duralast and O'reilly's can't compete on these parts from what I found (no coupons).

The Ruffstuff kit would be $240 shipped plus a reamer so I'm thinking the ZJ parts will do just fine with 33's, 4-1/2" of lift & the Clayton track bar.

Try Napa under $80 but I also live where there is no sales tax.
