Need some ideas please
So I just bought my 4th Jeep, 1st XJ. It is a 1999 and has 150,000 miles, new exhaust, trany cooler, tires, 3.5" Rubicon Exp., frame stiffeners, roof rack, and of course auto trans, 4.0 I6. Supposedly it has been re geared but I wont find out to what or even if it has until I take it in to get serviced.
I ordered a front bumper with a winch plate and a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. The guy makes them to order and ships them raw, so I will have to have them powder coated, but I only paid $665 for them and that includes shipping.
I also ordered LED projector lights from Amazon. I am most excited about this because the stock headlights suck. I ordered the Putco light harness too.
I am ordering a K&N cold air intake for it as well.
Oh, and by the way I only paid $3,000 for it.
Suggestions for performance and other upgrades are welcome.

IMHO, scrap those Amazon headlights. Most of the "projector" lights on Amazon aren't true projectors, and will throw light everywhere except for where you want/need it, which can result in blinding other drivers. I completely agree that the stock lights lack lumens, but I would recommend the e-code Autopal headlights on eBay. Im sure many on the forum here can attest to their quality, both in manufacturing, and light reflection. Good choice with the harness upgrade, as well. Best of luck to your new Jeep!

2nd the headlights. I bought a pair and they fog up, and are not true projects.
Unless your talking about the black set for $209. Those ID buy if they fit my 94.

Haven't seen those headlights before, Amazon has a lot of el cheapo "projectors" with the LED accents. I would try these out and post what you think of them. They look fun.
