Default Need some advice guys on steering!

Okay guys I have a tie rod end with up down play.

Btw there's no way this could be fixed by tightening the castle nut right?

If not I wanna upgrade the steering. Not sure whether to do this

Or this

Also what are your guys thoughts on this?

All opinions appreciated! On a pretty slim budget right now tho :/

If you're on a slim budget hit up the local junk yard and get a v8 zj tie rod and buy some new ends for it. They are way beefier and a direct fit

x2 on the zj upgrade

as for flipping the tie rod for high clearance,
I saw this on power block Trucks! cheep jeep long arm upgrade episode from 2009 I think
they did it with new tapers and a reemer. very cheap
although I wasnt sure how they reattatched the draglink to an upside down tie rod...
but then again they did use rustys HD steering

it's worth looking into yeah?

I did the 1 ton upgrade - I have about 15 degrees of play in my steering - design flaws in the way XJ steering is setup. Stick with the ZJ upgrade.

ZJ should be good unless you are doing some hardcore wheeling.

These are all you need
#DS1312 Tierod
#ES3096 Tierod End
#ES2079S Adj Sleeve
