Need a little info about a t-case
Found a good deal on a t-case with an sye installed. So it came out of a 2000 TJ that had a 3550 manual trans it is a N231. I would expect to have to use my 99XJ's linkage. But will it bolt up? I have an AW4. And if it will dose it have the same gear racial? Need a quick response from someone who knows TJ's. I'm not yet well rounded in me knowledge of other types of Jeeps.

I have a friend tying to go the other way with a 231, XJ to TJ and running into input shaft length issues. The TJ uses a longer shaft the XJ is shorter. so that might cause a problem.

Check out Novac, they have a lot of info on spline lengths. I've done XJ to ZJ and XJ to WJ and haven't had any issues so I'd say TJ shouldn't be much harder. And same ratio, 2.72 to 1.
