Ok the other day I went to take the *** off the shifter lever and the end of the lever twisted right off. This is all the threaded end of the lever. I need to know how I can fix this without going and getting a new shifter. I would like to put the original shifter back on.
I had a old shifter *** that was missing all the insides of it except the white plastic and it slips on the lever and I like the length it has now.
I just need to know if there is a way to re-thread it so that the stock shifter can be placed back on it.
