putting in the whole axle will be cheaper than setting up the used gears in your axles, if there two rusty get the carriers from the axles and get new gears and install

 

ok , ill keep it in mind in case i found them , the mechanic im using right now says that re gearing is not rocket science , that those can only be armed one way and they need no further configuring , i told him that they needed to be calibrated so it wont wear the teeth but he said that there is no way that could happend...

 

find another mechanic.....

 

what im going to do is deal the assy on the junker , he said the job is guaranteed for 3 months i think that way im not going to have any trouble...

It's not rocket science, but it does take skill. Just from what you've said of the mechanic I would find someone else to do it!

okay , i wont let him do it , he has really helped me a lot building my ride , whenever i need a hand he always helped me , we call him bin laden , but not because of the beard , is of the nasty smell he has jajaj , well i will be searching this weekend for junker that sale axles to check that out and keep you posted in case i need more help , thanks for all your shared knowledge , and once more thanks to this great forum that voids another mess up jejeje...

yeahh , thats what i meant, i have to spray myselve with baby powder glade spray before we start messing with the jeep , my wife once said to me , you dont even use perfume and to f*ck with the junk jeep you use glade , so i told her to come to meet my helper that he was a nice guy , and she almost had nauseas jajaja , she just ran away from us then i said now you understand the use of glade jajaja....
