Well, okay so stupid *** me decided it would be smart to cut the frame end of my track bar since I couldn't get the cotter pin out of the castle nut (rusted in) which meant I couldn't get a socket on the nut. So now I have a flush cut bolt with a nut on top that I can't get off. Help please!!

I've dug myself in some deep holes with some of my "bright ideas" too, lol, but that is a doozey. There really isn't any room on top to get in and cut the nut off. You cut it completely flush, nothing hanging out? The taper is likely too much to allow knocking it out with a punch, but it might be worth a try.

I don't know... that's a rough one.

 

Why don't you take off the track bar bracket so you can get at it better?

 

Nope nothing is hanging out, and I took a air hammer to for a long *** time!

 

I got the nuts off, but I'm having troubles getting the rest off.

 

Oh way to go, injecting logic into the situation.

If you're gonna try knocking it out, do it before you take the bracket out. Easier to get a good whallup on it while its still bolted up.

So what you're saying is that the bolt is cut off flush with the frame or it's flush with the bracket and you can't get the bracket off? Basically there's no way to get at some of the bolt sticking out?

No, I was referring to knocking the bolt out of the bracket, which sounds like you already tried. The bracket unbolts, takes some wiggling but it'll come out. Lol, just make sure you got all the bolts out.
