Just installed a 8.8 axle in my 98 XJ. Can i use the original ebrake cable if i use a cable clamp/lock to wrap the end of the cable around the 8.8 ebrake lever? if not, what is the most inexpensive alternate route to take? thanks

 

That is exactly what I did and it's great. I don't think there is an inexpensive alt. You can use zj cables I think or buy the custom ones
