Default Hid headlight question

Just put in my hids with projector housing and it works great but my high beam is a regular light also when I turn it off it clicks under the dash and the lights flicker but when I put it on high beam it stops.
This is my first time putting in hids is there anything I did wrong?

Sounds like you just bought super cheap HIDs. Ebay specials?

Your pin out is wired wrong. I bet its wired for 9007 not 9004 like needed. You just need to mess with the pin out on the 9004(h4) plug for your hid relay. Use a DMM to check hi low and common (-)

The orientation of the pins (connections) inside the plug.

I had a similar issue with my harness upgrade/projector install.

Had to switch the placement of two of the wires, they were reversed.

i had the same problem on my 00' with the same setup. i put bigger fuses in for the head lights, (Theirs two different fuses for the lights, each light has its only circuit). They wouldnt work at all but just strobe till i swap fuses. i could never get them to work on low beam but only hight beam. to get around the clicking, turn the headlights off before turning the switch off.

Thats not a good idea.

Those fuses are put in at the set amperage for a reason. If you allow too much, you'll end up burning stuff if the demand is high.

Remove the headlamp delay module for the flickering. Its located to the left of the steering column at about 5 oclock from the headlight switch. Remove the knee bolster panel and you're there.

I am not sure how changing the fuses to a bigger amperage fixed your problem. Changing the amperage of a fuse is not something I would do. Even if it is just 5 amps...you could be looking for trouble if you had or ever have a problem.
