Default My XJ is drunk, why is it lop sided?

So I've been noticing for some time now that my XJ has a drinking problem. I've been ignoring it, but as I've been sitting in my garage drinking and tinkering with stuff for my MJ, every time I look at the XJ it bothers me more and more. It's sitting all catawampus like. The passenger front is noticeably lower than the drivers front. When the sway-bar is disconnected it is more prevalent, but even when it is connected it's still slightly evident.

Basic info:
285/70r17
4.5" short arm; Bilstein 5150 shocks to match
1.5" rear drop shackles
Heavy duty tierod
Factory drag link and trac bar

Has anyone encountered such an issue before? In my pictures the you can see the crooked stance and my passenger coil is noticeable compressed compared to the driver's. Could it be a bad coil or a blown shock?

It's cause the passenger side has more mud..... Add mud to drivers side and then check back. Or it could just be a saggy coil. Lol.

Check if both coils are seated correctly in the coil buckets.

Well ya see, I tried that. Washed her top to bottom, nothing changed. So I went to the local mud hole and did some equal splashes think that would even things out. All with no luck unfortunately.

Good idea, I'll do it in the morning when I'm back at the house. I'll report my findings

Your Jeep is suspended by the springs (coils in front, leaves in back) so if it's uneven the springs are to blame. The only way your shocks could cause this is if the one on the passenger side was seized and unable to rebound but that's very unlikely because that would come with it symptoms far more worrisome than a little swagger. My guess is saggy spring.

I have the sag to the driver side. Couldn't figure out what spring it was then I realized that's where my spare is on the driver side

I would make sure both coils are seated right and is there any differance in the coil top to bottom sometimes they can get installed upside down. but then again some coils are the same either way

is your stock track bar mounted to the factory mounting position on the axle?

if it is, it will cause the body to lean over in that direction (passenger side). you may need to get an adjustable track bar to fix this.

Swap the left side springs with the rights, It'll probably level out.

How long have you had these springs on? My pass rear is sagged more than my driver rear after 9 years on the RE springs. I'm pretty sure mine is caused by the torque. Every time I take off from the lights (no sway bars) it squats to pass rear.

CPCP-94XJ is right. your vehicle was lifted without changing the track Bar. I had the same issue and corrected it with a rough country adjustable track bar. the ride and the appearance improved vastly.

+1 on the track bar. From the way the springs are angled it looks like the front end is being pushed to the driver side.
