Still in mockup stage.
angle is 6.4deg track/drag both bars will be the same length.
Plan is plate frame end and fab anchor point for frame side tonight.
I consider this my first real upgrade. In my opion steering and track should always be done together. I did order a frame side bracket but it wont work holes are half off and I'd have to cut it all up to fit it on the xj frame at angle.
Myswell just build my own and anchor the 31" track bar where it needs to land instead of trying to make a bracket work that's not quite right anywhere for length and angle.
Took lots of messaging to make this straight bar clear. The bar actually contacts coils at full lock and I took quite alot off the ruff stuff cover.
For some reason I can only post 1 photo.
Hoping to alittle here and there in next few days to be able to run it this weekend Full lock
So it ws a friday burn then load up to go camping with no running to see if it worked
on street for 20mfiles or so doing 55 no bumpsteer at all.
Then dive off the rd. Quickly proceed to winch.
Steering feels price and the 1.5x.25 bars over the knuckles are confident inspiring.
The jeep also feels softer crawling slow over ledges bumps and rocks only thing changed was track bar. Trackbar over the ax xle and moved outside the frame to maintain same length as drag link. Its very close t the coil but apoers to be no issue. Offset axle mount ws used from ruff stuff frame side fabbed to mach drag link length and angle. I dont beleive you can buy brckets slap em and expect to mach drag. i must be cause everyone does it.
