SSTs and Kevlars
I got 42,000 miles out of the STTs on my 89 cherokee. That was with a rear locker. Also never had a flat during the time I had them, which included some pretty heavy offroading. I currently have the Kevlar Goodyears on my rig. So far (5000 miles), I like them well enough. They seem quieter than the STTs, maybe a little better traction on wet roads, but slightly less traction off road. I may feel differently after I add 10-20,000 miles....

My cousin is picking up a set of the STTs this weekend so I'm hoping they do OK. I know several who've ran the KM2 and they do well off road but wear fast and are small. His 35s on an 8 inch rim was almost 2" shorter than my MTZs on the same rim. The were narrower as well. With 30psi in them they measured 33 1/2". I'd be mad if I paid for 35s and that's what I got.
