Yep. I'd weld it to the stiffners though. My TB bracket likes to wiggle loose every now and then.

 

Use red thread lock and new nylon nuts before you go welding stuff. Otherwise you'd been better off with the ruffstuff outbound mount.

 

Haven't had problems with the current one. Not supper worried about it. Wouldn't weld it till the stiffeners are on, and then I'd weld it to the stiffeners. Just bolts for now.

 

Well I had mine out on the street
this weekend drove awesome aside from the slight wandering from alignment issues. But as far as bump steer it was nonexistent I was overly impressed with how it handled.

 

I worked on mine a little bit. Can't wait to finish it up.

 

got my knuckles welded up and painted. Got my trackbar bracket from JKS and the pieces from boostwerks. Trackbar DOM and rod ends from ruffstuff arrive tomorrow. Unfortunately my buddy who welds for me is finishing up his double cab cummins j-truck for a trip out west in a week, so I probably won't get to have the welding done for 2 weeks or so. Still need to order tierod and draglink from ruffstuff

 

Small roadblock. What joint are people using in the JKS bracket? I have the 3/4" rod ends from ruffstuff with spacers to a 5/8" bore. But those are for a 2" wide mount, and JKS mount is 1 5/8" wide. I found some misalignment spacers at synergy/polyperf that are 1.6" wide for a 3/4" rod end to use a 5/8" bolt, but they are out of stock. Anyone have a source for something like that?

A quick very inexact measurement looks like I may be able to get the TB and DL within 2-3" of the same length. The BW frameside mount will outboard that joint almost 4", and forward about 3", so I think roughly a 33" TB. The draglink looks like I may get 35". This is with parts roughly mocked up, so we'll see how it actually turns out.

Any thoughts on getting that 3/4" rod end to fit a 1.625" mount with a 5/8" bolt?

I still have to finish it and work the shocks in there.
My custom control arm brackets had to be fixed and we didnt have a ton of time to do it "pretty" but it's functional for now.
