so to meet certain legal issues, most states require you to still have a certain number of mirrors. and if you take your doors off, you lose those side mirrors.

so what do you use for mirrors?

an idea i use and like is using a magnet from a impact gun/spray gun holder and bolting it to a cheapo parts store mirror. looks pretty clean and is easily removable when doors go back on. also the magnet is pretty strong so it doesnt come off when jolted offroad.

I have not looked but I think TJ mirrors could be adapted to fit the door hinge .

Nice! I haven't seen those before...but I like it.
I'm planning on modifying some cheapo bicycle mirrors to fit on the hinge.

 

cheep peep mirrors can be bought on ebay for $20-30

 

You may be able to modify some motorcycle mirrors. Mount them on the a pillar and leave them on all the time.
