Default Milestar Patagonia MT tire pressure

Just curious if anyone else is running Milestar Patagonia tires, and what air pressure you are setting them at for street use. I've got 31x10.5x15. The tire shop set them at 35psi, and I noticed the sidewall says 50psi. I raised them up to 48psi, but don't like the way they handle or ride at 50, so going to set them back down. Just wondering if anyone else has experimented with different psi with them. Thanks

48 is way too high for a Cherokee. The rating on the side wall is for max load and an unloaded Cherokee is t even close.

id start with what’s printed as the recommended preasure stamped on the drivers door. Mine is 33 psi, but with larger than stock tires you can go a little lower. I ended up at 28.

there is a calculator out there somewhere.

You should start with stock pressure recommendations. You'll likely go DOWN from there.

I don't run them on my XJ, but I run them on my ranger, which have the same size wheel/tire as my XJ (same bolt pattern as well). and I run them at about 31-32psi.

Milestar's are a crowned tire, so they will show a different tread patch compared to a flat tread tire. This means they are designed to ride on that center Rib. I would suggest contacting Milestar for a pressure per curb weight suggestion, but most likelly, it will be around 25 psi.

I would chalk tune them so tread face runs true. Then note that ad your baseline psi. Then tune from there ad 5 srr how it drives/feels reapeat till happy.
every tire driver and rig are different

I did contact milestar on Friday. I have not heard back from them yet.

I set them back down to 35, much better. I'll do some more experimenting with different psi this week. Thanks for the advice and input.
