Metalic noise front driver's wheel Any ideals?
Front driver's wheel, makes a loud metalic scraping noise. When turning to the right. Moving straight ahead little if any nosie. I had it upon a lift, put it in four wheel turned the wheel no noise.

Removed the wheel, inpsected brakes, rotor, caliber and dust cover. All are in great shape. Crasping the wheel, from top to bottom and doing the same left and right no movement.

Jack up the wheel and turn the wheel to the right, then spin the wheel and listen for the noise. If the hub assembly is solid it's prolly brake related. Also check out the u-joint while you're diagnosing. Also, is it when you are turning the wheel right, or when the wheel is turned right (from straight)?
