Anybody have any experience with Metalcloak Rocksport long travel shocks on an XJ? I believe they came out about a year ago.

I would stick with what you currently have the 5100's.

The Rocksport shocks actually work well with Dual Rate coils. Not sure how they would work with other coils though. I know the Bilstein shocks while a great quality product are too stiff for the Metalcloak Coils.

The TJ Rocksports came out about two months ago and while the TJ front will work on the XJ front. We do not have a rear shock for the XJ to match.

Personally, I love my Bisteins with metalcloaks dualrate 3.5" springs! They may be a little stiffer than others, idk because I haven't tried them, but with my limited up travel they control bottoming out very well while still providing a great ride. That being said, I wish Metalcloak would expand their Rocksport shock lineup to include more XJ applications. And btw Eric, why is Metalcloaks XJ site completely separate from the rest of your website?

So between Bilsteins and Old Man Emu, would you say the OME's are more properly valved for the Metalcloak coils? I'm installing your dual rate coils this month
