Welcome to Cherokee Forum, Andrew

I'm sure someone will chime in on whether or not you can use them.......do you know the fully extended length of the shocks you have right now?

Chances are they'll work fine on the road but will get over-extended if you try to flex. Longer shocks will be in order, or you could cheat and use bar pin eliminators to gain an inch. Don't forget about brakelines too!

When I increased my lift from 3" to 4 1/2" I had to install new shocks, brake lines, SYE, driveshaft along with many other items to do it right.

If you plan on larger tires new gears are in order also and that is the time for a locker install also. The lift itself was the cheapest part of doing the lift it's all the extras needed. YMMV.

All you have to do is call them. They have a live chat. Just did that and they said the shocks aren't long enough from the 3 inch kit.

I looked up the specs, weren't available at most placed btw...

The front 3" shock part# 20039 is like 14.5 - 24.75 ext/collapsed
The front 4.5" shock part# 20008 is like 15 - 26 ext/collapsed

So I agree that you could add some bar pin eliminators to them and use them.
