Imagine a Glossy white Jeep.

Then imagine it without the gloss.

That's what it would look like.

a buddy of mine plexi-dipped his civic matte black it wasnt bad to be honest.

I was thinking I would do mine matte white (my jeeps white) in the spring bc he already had the gun, just needed the paint.

Figured for about $100 what the hell. If I dont like it peel it off and no sweat off my nose.

Might not be the most popular thing on a jeep forum but it doesnt matter.

Wow lowrange2, pretty intelligent response. I guess I should expect that from someone who is trying to push calendars with pictures of crappy looking Jeeps in it. I've seen previews of your retarded calendar, and frankly, I'd rather have a Hooters calendar. Who would want to see a bunch of dudes trying to climb some little boulders. Hint, next time for your calendar, have some chics with bikinis do it. Gay.

Anyway, thanks for the honest response Malik3404, I've actually seen a Jeep roll around my neighborhood with a matte black paint job, looks pretty slick. My Jeep is white with matte black accents which might look good if the white were matte. Was just looking to see if there was anyone who has seen or done it. I've seen sports cars with this type of paint job but nothing ever on a Jeep. Mehoff_400, matte is the new shiny dude, shine is way overrated, especially on a Jeep. You should know that if you 4 wheel.

Wow who took the satin out of your panties. That's an unusually angry response to a pretty funny post actually.

Oh and matte looks terrible on vehicles IMHO. Even the unique factor was gone a few years ago.

Lol, that's funny, what if you do both? Put in parts that help your Jeep and have a chalk white paint job?

I've seen someone do a flat white cherokee with black on the bottom and black rear quarter panels (he spray painted it). It turned out really well. I wouldn't put too much money in it though. And to this guy ^ I'm pretty sure the paint is what prevents your vehicle from turning into a bucket of rust.

I didn't think it was funny BEETROOT. I was simply asking a question and I got a ******* response. Isn't that what we are on this forum for? To inquire about things to do to our Jeeps? Is glossy back to being "the unique factor" these days? IMHO, I don't want something that everybody else has on the road, and EVERYONE has a glossy paint job.

Good info Jeepxj1234, that's the kind of response that I should get, not some idiots trying to be funny or slick. I think a matte white paint job would be very unique on a Jeep.

There is no such thing as "very unique". Unique means one of a kind. It either is unique or it isn't, there can be no degrees.

BEETROOT, we're simply talking about a paint job, not any other parts. I have a great paint job, I'm just bored.
