and heres the first longarm setup I built in my backyard without much experience with 4" of lift and 37s.

Any longarm can flex just fine, its just that the more experienced guys choose to limit their suspension flex in favor of stability and a better control arm angle at full droop.
It just gets tiring seeing people get sucked into the maximum flex hype that iro puts out there. but hey, it sells kits. I would much rather have a well performing, more reliable suspension setup.

So a radius arm is a 4 link? But a ford radius arm is a 2 link? While It isnt exactly one, It most mimics a wristed radius arm setup. One arm controls caster and keeps one side of the axle in place, and the other arm is just there to keep the other side of the axle in place but allowed to twist and misalign freely.

when counting links you should count the control arms that connect to the body, not the axle. obviously calling it a 2 link sounds dumb so instead you should be calling it a wristed radius arm setup as KTM mentioned. that 3rd "link" in the IRO long arms shouldnt really count because its freakin welded to the main lower arm. how does that count as a link? its part of the link its welded to.
lunchbox lockers, they work fine but on 35s you are really going to be pushing the strength of the dana 30 gears. full case lockers will help with that.

I know right the previous owner cut the exhaust off right behind the cat and i pulled one off at the pick a part. thats the first thing that is going to get chopped off lol. As for the hatch planning on body work then bedlining the body line down or just running it I'm not planning on it being a trailer queen
