My buddy josh ran a magnaflow muffler on his 96 XJ an a Flowmaster 40 on his 92 XJ. I liked the sound of the Flowmaster better, But on long drives the Magnaflow was nicer due to less drone.

Depending on what you get, can pick up a magnaflow on amazon for around 50$. That is where I got my 14" 4x9 oval.

Flowmaster super 44. Can't beat it. It sounds great and if your going to and I have never noticed droan. All I can ever hear is my tires.
