LubeLocker Gaskets???
Hey guys, time to do my yearly fluid changes. Has anyone used the LubeLocker gaskets? Seems like a good idea but at $25 per gasket I'm not sure that ithey're much better than RTV. Anybody on here use them?

I'm running one in my Dana 30, seems to work great. I got it for free when I bought gears but in my opinion it's worth the $25. It sure beats scraping off rtv and putting more on every time you pull your cover

Thanks Mcnally. I guess they're sturdy enough to be used 4-5 times before replacing? I'm figuring between my once a year service and changing fluid after playing in water if I could use reuse them 5 times it's probably worth the $50.

People gave me crap for buying them but they worked great with my ruffstuff covers. Dragged them over rocks and never leaked a drop. I specifically bought them for when I first built my axles up so I could remove the covers change oil and check on things as needed. I have now switched to RTV. I wouldn't buy them again RTV is the way
I have gaskets for 30/8.8 if anyone wants to make an offer. I'll probably just keep them

Hey thanks for asking this question, I've been wondering the same thing! Sounds like most people get at least 5 re-uses out of them and for the time/money involved with RTV it sounds like it's worth it to me. They seem to be $20-25 each everywhere I've found them so the $50 is for both axles. After 5 or 6 uses, that's a little less expensive than RTV and WAY less work.

Where can these be ordered. I did my rear axle this weekend and when I went to pick up a gasket for it, oriellys didn't have a lubelocker option. The parts slinger looked at me like I was crazy
